Bonzai Aphrodite has a great post about preserving foods so you’ll have them throughout winter. I have a ton of basil in my garden and wasn’t sure what to do with it. Looks like I’ll be making some pesto and freezing it here soon.
I just think this is so incredible that I can’t get over it. It’s things like this that motivate me to live a healthy lifestyle.

I just recently found out how cashews are grown and did a few Google image searches to see what other foods look like before they’re harvested. This was just something I’d never thought about before. It’s so amazing and interesting to see how certain things are grown.
I made my own cookie dough blizzard! I used this recipe for the base and this recipe for the cookie dough bites since I didn’t have cashews on hand for the original recipe. It was seriously good and satisfied my craving for something sweet. The cookie dough bites were insane and I’ve been eating the leftover ones as appetizers before each meal haha
